Christmas Hot Buffet

Available 28th November to 20th December 2003

This year we are trying a new concept at Le Couvent for Christmas dining with our Christmas Hot Buffet.

A choice of 4/5 hot dishes all kept piping hot in chafing dishes accompanied by seasonal vegetables, potatoes, rice, salads and hot crusty bread.
Try everything and eat as much as you can!

Evenings

Roast Norfolk Turkey
slices of tender turkey in a rich wine gravy

Monkfish in a White Wine Sauce
Tender pieces of monkfish in a cream and Chablis sauce

Pork Stroganoff
tender pork strips with mushrooms, peppers and onions in a rich sauce flamed in brandy

Lamb au Poivre
diced lamb with sliced mushrooms, peppers and onions in a pepper sauce

Stilton and Garlic Mushrooms
button mushrooms sauteed with a hint of garlic in a rich creamy stilton sauce
